Akagera National Park, Mutara

Akagera National Park is located in Kigali and a safari park of Rwanda along the eastern boarder of. This can be called a part of the traditional East African safari.  This park is a little small and not enough to compare with the east African reserves. It contains most of the mammals of Africa like elephant, buffalo, hippos and giraffe. A little number of lions and leopards are seen there. You can enjoy the 530 spices of birds here, including red- faced barbets and shoebills.
