3 Days Detailed Itinerary to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 1: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala and have a stopover at the equator for photographs, Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. A game drive En route may be rewarded with views of Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. After lunch, go sightseeing in the crater region – it is a marvel! Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park Game Drive

An early morning game drive in this park, provide excellent opportunities to see Lions, Leopards, Giant Forest Hogs, Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks and many more. After lunch, Enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals may be seen drinking at the water’s edge. Day 3: Kyambura Gorge and Return to Kampala

After a very early breakfast, head for the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking and a variety of primates. Return to Kampala after the tracking. Lunch en-route and arrive in the city late evening.

Note: Chimpanzee tracking is an optional activity and in case you need it an extra $150 USD per permit per trek per person should be paid in addition to the actual cost.
